Creating an Auto Responder for Email in SmarterMail

To set up the Auto-Responder, simple log into your Smartermail Webmail.

Once you are logged in, click on ‘Settings‘ on the left hand menu and then click on "Auto-Responder". Check ‘Enable auto-responder‘ and then click on ‘Auto-responder Message‘.

Put in the subject, such as "Vacation" or "Out-of-Office". In the message box, type in whatever information you would like included in your responder email, such as emergency contact numbers and date of return.

You can set the date range when the responder should be activated and de-activated when you are back. You will need to activate the date range system by clicking on "Enable active date range".

Click on "Save" and you are ready to go.
